Certified Personal Trainer
Sam has coached for several softball organizations including the Ohio Hurricanes, where she played for 6 years. She attended Euclid High School. Her freshmen year she made the varsity softball team as a starter, playing short stop and catcher. In her four years at Euclid, she won: Rookie of the Year award, Offensive Player of the Year award, Defensive Player of the year award, and the Most Valuable Player of the Year award. In her time, Euclid also tied the Lake Erie League (L.E.L) division twice. Sam also was awarded L.E.L First team, Female Athlete of the Year award, and was recognized by the United States Marine Corps as a star female athlete. Sam also received a scholarship to play at Ursuline College where she studied psychology.
At Ursuline, Sam was a starting center-fielder and leadoff-hitter. In her four years, she won: Rookie of the year award, Offensive Player of the year, Defensive Player of the year, and she made the Great Mid-west Athletic Conference (G-MAC) second team. Her lifetime batting average was .378, she was successful in 78% of stolen base attempts, and in her final season she held a team high of runs scored, runs batted in, and fielding percentage with 98% making only 4 errors all season.
Personal Training: certification in both Personal Training and Core & Functional Fitness. Samantha’s area of strength is fielding and hitting, along with speed and agility.
